Purpose
The Public Portfolio measures the outcomes of publicly published ArtAnt Capital research ideas under a model portfolio. It is not a statement of actual brokerage-account or client-capital performance.
Adopted before the first eligible position so that the rules are known before the results.
The Public Portfolio measures the outcomes of publicly published ArtAnt Capital research ideas under a model portfolio. It is not a statement of actual brokerage-account or client-capital performance.
An idea enters only if it is marked Portfolio Eligible at publication. Successful ideas cannot be added retroactively after their outcomes are known.
The original publishedAt timestamp is the authoritative publication time and is preserved after first publication.
The model reference entry is the official opening price of the next regular trading session after publication.
Portfolio P&L supports LONG and SHORT. WATCH, AVOID and NEUTRAL research may be reviewed qualitatively but does not enter model P&L.
Each idea receives a benchmark before entry. SPY is the default; a documented sector benchmark may be used when appropriate. It cannot be changed after registration.
Methodology v1.0 uses equal initial weights. A future conviction-weighted portfolio, if introduced, will be reported separately.
Long idea return is measured from reference entry to reference exit or the latest available mark while open.
Short idea return is measured consistently from the registered entry to exit or current mark, without representing a specific margin-account structure.
Long-term reporting is intended to use total-return economics. Splits are adjusted and are not treated as investment gains or losses.
Model results are gross unless explicitly stated otherwise. Taxes, slippage, commissions, borrow costs and financing may differ from real execution.
Ideas may be OPEN, UNDER REVIEW, CLOSED, INVALIDATED or SUPERSEDED. PENDING ENTRY is used before the reference opening price is captured.
A model exit uses the next official regular-session open after the public closing decision is timestamped.
Material thesis changes are recorded as revisions. The original publication is not silently rewritten to improve hindsight results.
Losing and invalidated ideas remain in the record. They are not removed from aggregate statistics.
M&A, delistings, bankruptcy and similar events are handled using the realizable economic value of the position under documented rules.
Portfolio-level performance is calculated from a daily NAV series rather than by averaging individual idea returns.
Uninvested capital remains cash. Methodology v1.0 initially assumes zero return on cash unless a later version explicitly introduces a risk-free accrual.
The dashboard is designed to report return, benchmark-relative performance, drawdown, volatility, Sharpe, Sortino and idea-level outcome statistics when sufficient history exists.
Metrics based on limited history are labeled accordingly rather than presented with false precision.
The official record begins prospectively with the first eligible idea registered after adoption of v1.0. Earlier publications are not backfilled as portfolio positions.
Future methodology changes receive a new version and effective date. Historical records are not silently recomputed under new rules without disclosure.
Adopted 16 Aug 2026. Performance shown under this framework is model/research performance unless explicitly identified otherwise.
